The Dangers of living in an Indifferent World
The ending of "The Lottery" is shocking compared to how seeming normal the rest of the short story is. I could relate it to the actions of the Nazis during the Holocaust in World War II. At first, before the Holocaust was underway everything seemed normal, until they started gathering the Jews into the ghettos and after that the death camps. It was shocking how that could have happened, and unexpected.
In "The Perils of Indifference", Elie is warning everyone addressed in his letter that remaining indifferent can have serious consquences, such as during the Holocaust when outside countries knew of the existence of the death camps where thousands of Jews were being killed, yet none of them did anything about it. In "The Lottery" remaining indifferent is causing someone to be killed every single time a lottery takes place. The residents of the town are afraid of change yet all the other towns have given up the lottery, which shows one of the dangers of living in an indifferent world.

Top 3
My top 3 list is about my personal 3 favorite drummers. They may not be considered the greatest drummers in the world, but in my opinion, they are the best at what they do. Number one is Gene Hoglan, who has played with a huge variety of different groups and has his own original style. He always plays incredibly solid, even in a live setting and plays very technical music, which makes most other drummers sound bad.
Number 2 is Flo Mounier, who hasn't played with as many groups as Gene Hoglan but is just as skilled as him. Flo Mounier has also played the best drum solo I've ever heard and made it look really easy. Flo Mounier plays faster music than Gene Hoglan, and I've never heard anyone that can compare to his speed and technical ability.
Number 3 is Yanic Bercier, who hasn't played with as many bands as the other two drummers, but he still has a very wide range of styles such as jazz and metal. He is also incredibly skilled with the bass drum and has done things that I've never heard other people do.

Super Powers
If I could have any super power it would definitely be the ability to fly. I could go basically anywhere I wanted and take a vacation whenever. Instead of paying for expensive flights I could just fly where I wanted to go. I could take a vacation in the Carribean or in Hawaii every weekend. I could fly to Pakistan and visit the Pakistinians.
